Cleveland Marriott East

Nice hotel with beautiful, spacious suites that are great for large families. The M Suite is especially impressive if you’re able to book that option. I also recommend taking advantage of the free breakfast if available. Customer service was a bit inconsistent. Some staff were very helpful and attentive, while others seemed a little scattered. However, the lady who oversees breakfast in the M suite during the weekdays was very kind and welcoming, which made the mornings especially pleasant. There is also a nice gym, which I had a chance to visit, and an indoor pool that looked inviting, though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. There are plenty of areas throughout the property that would work well for events, conferences, and meetings, which is a big plus. Overall, a pleasant stay and a solid choice for families or groups.

The staff were friendly and respectful. The room looked as though the finishes were rushed. The bathroom light switch and outlet were extremely crooked as though it was installed by school age children. Additionally the tv was mounted annoyingly crooked to the point I had to prop up the corner of the tv with a cardboard box. I am willing to stay there again but hopefully things are less dusty next time. Be prepared to go out for breakfast or pay sit down breakfast prices for limited buffet.

Stayed here a few times on a business trip and overall not a bad hotel option. Could use some slight remodeling but the staff are friendly, nice sized rooms, good parking and a lot around the hotel as well (shopping, food, near the interstate, etc.).

Great hotel. I’m an Elite member so I get free brunch and use of the M lounge. Rooms are very clean and bedding always fresh. Front desk was very hospitable. I had a couple interactions with them and they were very polite and accommodating.

I want to thank the everyone at the hotel who helped make our event a success. I was there for a work trip, the event was planned in less than 2 weeks and we forgot to account for set up time in the hotel the day before the event. Upon arrival, our room was not available for set up but the hotel sales and catering team helped us to pivot and select a room that could accommodate our needs, while also keeping their other guest request in tact. If I forgot any names, please share this message with them, Lauren, Stacey, Nick, Nate and the AV team, Miss Judy and Jennifer, all the front desk staff, THANK YOU so much for taking care of us and our guests. You took a load off of my mind so that I could focus on my responsibilities as you well handled yours.

The Cleveland East Marriott delivered an exceptional experience, and the reason for that is Sam. From the moment we arrived, Sam set the tone for what true hospitality is supposed to feel like. She did not just do her job, she elevated the entire stay. Sam is warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely kind in a way that immediately puts you at ease. Every interaction with her felt thoughtful and intentional. She made us feel welcomed, valued, and cared for, which is something you do not experience often anymore when traveling. Sam went above and beyond in ways that cannot be taught. She anticipated needs before we even had to ask and handled every situation with confidence, grace, and a positive attitude. Whether it was helping coordinate details, answering questions, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, Sam made the experience seamless. You can tell she truly cares about people, not just policies or procedures. That level of authenticity is rare and incredibly refreshing. Because of Sam, the Cleveland East Marriott felt less like a hotel and more like a place you actually want to return to. She created an environment that felt comfortable, calm, and welcoming, even after long workdays. She is the type of employee who represents the very best of the Marriott brand and raises the standard for everyone around her. Marriott is extremely fortunate to have someone like her on their team. I also want to recognize the hotel manager, who was very accommodating and supportive throughout our stay. The leadership here clearly values service and empowers their staff to take care of guests the right way. That support shows and it reflects in the overall experience. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, the common areas were inviting, and everything ran smoothly. But what truly sets this property apart is the people. Sam is the standout and the reason this stay was memorable. If you are considering staying at the Cleveland East Marriott, do not hesitate. And if you have the chance to interact with Sam, you will immediately understand why this review exists. Outstanding service, genuine hospitality, and a team that truly cares. I will absolutely be back and will confidently recommend this location to colleagues and friends.

Great service and great location. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast brunch wasn’t the best we’ve had and room was heavily dusty around tv and nightstands so 4/5 stars

Recently stayed for hockey tournament. Our room- as well as the rest of the team rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful- especially given the fact so many other teams stayed this weekend. The hotel also hosted several other large events. Parking was always easy to find and close when coming and going several times daily. Lots of shopping and food options close by.
